Elizabeth and James Nirvana White

I have been wearing this scent all month and I haven’t gotten sick of it yet, which rarely happens.  It’s a really universal scent that a lot of people would like.

Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint

I absolutely love this foundation for summer.  It’s light weight yet full coverage, matte, and long lasting.  It does smell a bit like spray paint though, so if you are sensitive to scent you would not like this.  The scent only lingers for a couple of minutes.

Essie Marshmallow

This is my go to nail polish when I’m indecisive about what shade to wear.  I lost it in my move late last summer and have recently fallen in love with it.  The application takes a bit of patience as it sheer and can looks streaky if you don’t use enough layers.

Makeup Geek Contour Powder

If you are looking to branch out into contouring I highly recommend this contour powder.  It’s highly pigmented but easy to blend.  Make sure to use a light hand; it’s better to build up rather than putting too much on.

5 Must-Haves In Your Carry On

Always, always, ALWAYS pack your most valuable items in your carry-on.  If you pack it in your check on luggage there’s a chance it will get lost.

Change of Clothes

It’s a good idea to pack an extra outfit, just in case your luggage gets lost.

Lip Balm

Being on a plane is brutal on my lips.  I have to have lip balm on hand at all times.

I’d like to say I could sit and relax for a few hours but I can’t.  I need to be doing something productive.  I love bringing a great book or my laptop or ipad on flights so I can keep busy.

Cozy Jacket/Blanket

Aside from being dry planes are also cold.  I shiver quite easily so I always bring something with me to keep me warm.

Makeup Brushes For Beginners

The market for brushes is saturated and it can be a bit confusing for a makeup beginner.  Here are my favorite affordable brushes for beginners.  I don’t recommend buying high-end brushes until you know which ones you use the most.  Also, I don’t recommend any foundation brush because I find that the Beauty Blender is best for beginners.
