During the Summer I feel like my skin needs a little extra exfoliation.  I try to use a glycolic cleanser about 3 times a week to help exfoliate.  I have recently been using the Mario Badescu Glycolic Cleanser.

The part in my hair gets sunburnt EXTREMELY easily, and I can’t stand the feeling of sunscreen in my hair so I always bring a hat with me.

Must-Have Makeup for Summer

Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint

As most of you know, I am in love with this foundation!  I have oily skin that can easily look like a hot mess in the Summer without a matte foundation.  I also love that it has SPF 30 to protect my skin from those Summer rays.

Waterproof Mascara

Whether it’s from sweating or swimming, no one wants their mascara to smudge.  I have hooded eyes which makes it difficult to keep mascara from smudging.  My favorite waterproof mascara is the Too Face Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara.

I love a Summer glow!  But I don’t want sun damaged skin from soaking up the sun.  Sometimes it’s just best to fake that Summer bronzy glow.

Olaplex No.3 Review

Like many women, I have struggled with damaged hair for several years now. My hair is naturally dry and frizzy. Along with not having naturally fantastic hair, I bleached it for a couple of years.  I stumbled across Olaplex on Instagram and decided to give it a try. Olaplex is a line of three items which consists of No.1, No.2, and No.3.  No. 1 is meant to be mixed in with any lightening product used in your hair. No. 2 is used to complete your hair coloring process and No.3 is a take home treatment.

Despite all the before and after pictures, I was still skeptical.  I have tried tons of great hair products but nothing quite like this.  Olaplex essentially repairs broken hair which leaves it smooth and healthy, which is exactly what it did for my hair.

I followed the directions and put a generous amount into towel dry hair.  I left it in for about 20 minutes.  Even though I only left it in for 20 minutes, I got AMAZING results.  I am so impressed with Olaplex; it has quickly become a holy grail product. For better results (particularly with recently dyed hair) you can leave it in for up to 2 hours.  Optimal use is about an hour every 10 days. Olaplex is marketed for salon professionals only but you can buy it at salon professional stores, and in salons.
