Austria Haus Review

_DSC1523

Location: Vail, CO

Style: European

Class: 3 star hotel

Amenities: Spa, ski storage, valet parking, heated pool and hot tub, breakfast, WiFi, and gym

What’s nearby? Everything!  Since this hotel is located in Vail Village, everything in the village and lionshead are within walking distance.

What I Enjoyed: It’s difficult to find a reasonable price hotel in Vail Village, and this is one of the few.  The atmosphere is charming and makes you feel like you are in a European town.  The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable.

What I did not enjoy: My boyfriend is over 6′ tall and the shower head was too low for him.  The decor of this hotel is very traditional and adds to it’s European charm but the curtains are very outdated.

Would I stay again? Yes!  You can’t beat the price and location.

Price: Vail is notorious for skyrocketing prices during the winter. During the Summer, expect to spend about $200 per night.  During the Winter, expect to spend about $500 per night.
